We arranged the slaughtering of 3 cows, 18 sheep and 2 goats at Mpogo Orphanage, Sirionko, Uganda. This orphanage was constructed by the Sameera Foundation and currently it accommodates 50 orphan girls in Zainab Wing and 50 orphan boys in Aqeel Nazal Wing. The Qurbani arrangement was done under the supervision of Daaki Ahmed (Chairman RFNF) and his team. The local team distributed the fresh meat for poor and needy people deep in villages of Uganda. According to RFNF the fresh meat was distributed for 812 families (264 men, 375 women, 173 children).
We also arranged Qurbani of 3 cows, 4 sheep and 2 goats under the supervision of Chairman, Azizi Kintu of Kikubi Muslim Community Centre (KMCC) and his team. They distributed the fresh meat for the Individual households bringing nutrition to 70 individuals, including men, women and children. About 250 cooked meals were also distributed for needy families.
We are grateful to both the Chairmen, Daaki Ahmed (RFNF) and Kintu Azizi (KMCC) for their hard work for slaughtering of sacrificial animals and distribution of the fresh meat.
