FEED DISABLED, WIDOWS AND ORPHANS DURING WAR AND COVID-19 PANDEMIC

THE INNOCENT PEOPLE AND CHILDREN OF YEMEN ARE BEGGING FOR YOUR URGENT HELP.

THE YEMEN IS SUFFERING THE BIGGEST HUMANITARIAN CRISIS AND THE WORLD IS SILENT. EVERY 10 MINUTES A CHILD DIES IN YEMEN.

We started the distribution of Food Packs for needy families, widows and disabled  in the areas of Taiz, Aden, Alttorba, Sanaa and Hodeida.  We shall continue our work  up to August of 2021. The photos can be seen at the following links:

Numerous diseases are already endemic in Yemen and years of civil war has displaced millions. More than 24 million Yemenis – 80% of the population – are in need of humanitarian assistance. Half of the country’s health facilities are dysfunctional and nearly a quarter of the country’s districts have no doctors.

The UN is warning that the international community is in a race against time to save Yemen, ravaged by years of man-made famine and war, now also seeing some of the highest mortality rates because of COVID-19.  The UN says 17 per cent of those infected there are dying, and doctors warn a silent disaster is unfolding in the community.

According to Sky news, Coronavirus will ‘delete Yemen from maps all over the world’.

Sameera Foundation started the distribution of food packs for disabled, orphans, widows and poor families of Yemen. A donation of £15 could feed a desperate family for a month.

£100 for a Qurbani of sheep/goat or  a share of cattle Qurbani for £120 could feed many poor families.

PLEASE, DONATE AT THE FOLLOWING LINK:

“Millions of children could die” in YEMEN”

It’s not too late to help! With your generous donations we can provide food packs and support orphans who are in desperate need of our help. 100% of your donations will be applied to the cause. You can sponsor an orphan by giving £10 a month and give them the life they deserve:

Reported by Sahl bin Sa’ad (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: “The Messenger of Wa Sallam said: “I and the one who looks after an orphan will be like this in Paradise,” showing his middle and index fingers and separating them.” [Sahih al-Bukhari].

We acknowledge gratefully the support of the following generous supporters. We could not have done it or will do it in the next 11 months without their support.

Sameera Foundation is raising funds for building a Mosque in Lahore near India and Pakistan Border. This mosque is located in suburb of Lahore near Bata Pur, besides BRB canal, which is a thickly populated area. Google map screenshot of the location below:

This area is selected for the Mosque as there’s no  Mosque for the local community for prayers. This Mosque will also provide education (mainstream and religious) to the kids, whose parents are poor, mainly brick makers and local farmers. Land has already been purchased for it and construction work has  initiated for building foundation, walls and floors. We need approx.   £5000 funds to complete the building block of the mosque including Roof. The donations could be made at the following link: https://www.paypal.com/gb/fundraiser/charity/185382

2019 – INTERNATIONAL WHITE CANE DAY GIFT FOR VISUALLY IMPAIRED AND BLIND

Sameera Foundation and Association of Visually Impaired (Attock District) organised International White Cane day on 15th October 2019. The association organised a Rally in the town and the event was celebrated by the dignitaries of the local community, public and visually impaired & Blind of the District. Sameera Foundation gifted white canes which were distributed by Deputy Commissioner of Attock District for visually impaired or blind.
International White Cane Day takes place on October 15th each year and the day is observed worldwide to recognise the movement of blind people from dependency to full participation in society.
Throughout the world, the long white cane is used by people who are blind or visually impaired as a tool for safe and reliable navigation. The white cane is a symbol of the user’s skills and talents, mobility and independence. It also allows the sighted person to recognize that the user is visually impaired.

2019 -EID UL ADHA QURBANI

“It is neither their flesh nor their blood that reaches Allah; it is piety that reaches Him” (Quran 22:37)

HOMELESS SUPPORT GROUP SWANSEA – Dec 2018

HOMELESS SUPPORT GROUP SWANSEA – Dec 2018

This programme is sponsored jointly by Sameera Foundation, Swansea Central Mosque, Swansea University mosque, Al-Khoei Islamic Centre, Darul Ilm, Birmingam and Swansea University Campus Life.

OUR WORK CAN BE SEEN AT THE FOLLOWING LINKS:

There are 69 males, 22 females, 7 boys & 2 girls in homeless state and  temporarily accommodated in various Shelters of Swansea. The Night Shelter staff estimates about 20 homeless are roaming in the Town Centre. A pack of toiletries is recommended as a gift on Christmas along with chocolates/sweets for Homeless in Swansea. Sameera Foundation, a Swansea based UK registered charity,  planned to send individual festive packets containing  Shampoo, shower gel,  Imperial leather soap, tooth paste &  2 brushes, wet wipes, Vaseline or bam, deodorant, hair brush or comb and face moisturiser (for  females) along with a nice brand  of chocolates. This programme is sponsored jointly by Sameera Foundation, Swansea Central Mosque, Swansea University mosque, Al-Khoei Islamic Centre, Darul Ilm, Birmingam and Swansea University Campus Life.

You are welcome to join us by gifting some of the stated items or by donating to Sameera Foundation, Sort Code: 20 76 89; Account No. 40338427. Alternatively, you could donate at   https://www.paypal.com/gb/fundraiser/charity/185382

The PPGF recognises us a 100% charity and will neither charge you nor us any commission contrary to other platforms charges of 3.5 to 8 % for any donation. We shall be happy to add your name on the festive card with your permission. Information can be obtained from Dr Malik at 07775500780.

Probably, many people don’t know that the volunteers of a local church go on a late-night tour, once a week, to find the Homeless sleeping in a desperate situation in town centre. They provide them hot drinks, food, blanket and warm clothing if required.  The volunteer of Sameera Foundation will join local Church  to deliver festive toiletries pack for these unfortunate Homeless sleeping in streets in extremely cold weather. There are many Swansea groups working on gift of warm clothes for Homeless during this month also.

SAVE A NEWLY BORN BABY

“Saving One Life is as if Saving Whole of Humanity” Quran5:32

Alsadaaka Hospital, Aden is a teaching hospital but now it is serving a  large numbers of displaced people who moved to Aden due to unfortunate war in other parts of Yemen. Recently a newly born baby died due to non-availability of a proper baby incubator. There is a shortage of staff and equipment due to high demand of the hospital.  We are raising fund and look forward for your generous donation to arrange a baby room in the  vicinity of maternity room to avoid any further loss of newly born babies. The humanitarian crisis in #Yemen is dire. In the last week, airstrikes & bombing have killed nearly 50 people, including dozens of children on a bus.

Our target is only £2,500. You could donate here.
