2024 – EID UL ADHA QURBANI IN PAKISTAN

By the 𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐄 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐀𝐇 𝐒𝐖𝐓, we arranged a collective 𝐄𝐢𝐝 𝐮𝐥 𝐀𝐝𝐡𝐚 𝐐𝐮𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐢 of 13 cows, 45 goats and 9 sheep in 4 different countries. The meat was distributed for about 1,000  needy families.

6 cows were slaughtered in Pakistan, 5 cows in Uganda and 2 cows in Madagascar. 36 goats in Taiz, Yemen; Yemen; 7 goats in Uganda and 2 goats in Madagascar. 6 sheep in Taiz and 3 sheep in Sanaa.

Six healthy cows/bulls were purchased by our local team in 𝐏𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧. Two teams of butchers were hired to do the sacrificial Qurbani act on Monday 17th of June 2024. It was the first day of Eid ul Adha in Pakistan. The fresh meat was given to about 500 families of both the villages of 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐬𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐡𝐏𝐮𝐫. Our local team delivered the Qurbani meat at their residences.

𝐁𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐀𝐇 𝐒𝐖𝐓, 36 healthy goats were selected and purchased by our team in 𝐓𝐚𝐢𝐳 to do Qurbani on behalf of our donors. The Qurbani was performed on 16th June 2024 in Taiz and Sanaa. The fresh meat was distributed by our team to about 250 families of the densely populated Taiz. The recipients saw this share of Qurbani meat as a luxury they could not afford. Three sheep were slaughtered in Sanaa on behalf of 𝐃𝐫 𝐀𝐥𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐢.

We are grateful to our coordinator 𝐃𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐥-𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢 and his team for organising the Qurbani Event on the first day of Eid in Yemen. Every goat was displayed clearly with the banner showing the name of donor. The photos were provided to the donors. The Foundation’s coordinator in Yemen, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐥-𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢, confirmed that the process of distributing meat included taking all health measures for its selection, the place of slaughter of livestock, packaging meat and delivering it to the beneficiaries to ensure that it is not damaged before distributing it to the needy, displaced, marginalized families and patients.
