FREE EYE CAMPS FOR NEEDY COMMUNITIES OF PAKISTAN

𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄 𝐄𝐘𝐄 𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐏 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝟖𝟕 𝐏𝐎𝐎𝐑 𝐕𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐀𝐆𝐄𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐂𝐇, 𝐏𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐍

#𝑺𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒆𝒓𝒂𝑭𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 organized a 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐄𝐲𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩 𝐣𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐥-𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐟𝐚 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥, 𝐑𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢 𝐨𝐧 𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟐. Both the males and female visitors, including students, were treated for all sorts of eye diseases. There was a special arrangement for females, and they were treated by female doctors. Free medicines were provided, and surgeries or cataract surgeries for referred patients will be performed free at the Hospital campus.
424 outpatients registered in the eye camp; 85 were given glasses; 182 were given free medicines; 41 patients were referred for free eye treatment and 23 for free cataract surgery in Al-Shiffah Hospital. Dr Tahira Rathore, a volunteer from Glasgow, examined 132 patients and her selfless contribution for humanitarian cause is appreciated.

We are extremely grateful for the cooperation of Al-Shifa Trust and their team for providing an excellent service to the needy people of Chach villages. Our special thanks for Engr. Saeed Malik, Engr. Jamil Malik for their supervision of the event. The hard work of Abdur Raheel, General Secretary , Anam Liaqat, Vice Principal and their volunteers are deeply appreciated. 𝐒𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐃 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄 𝐄𝐘𝐄 𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐏 𝐀𝐓 𝐃𝐇𝐎𝐊𝐄 𝐁𝐀𝐁𝐀, 𝐀𝐃𝐘𝐋𝐀 𝐑𝐎𝐀𝐃, 𝐑𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐋𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐈
#𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐀𝐥-𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐟𝐚 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐄𝐲𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐚𝐣𝐞𝐞𝐛 𝐑𝐢𝐳𝐰𝐚𝐧 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 jointly sponsored a Free Eye Camp on 21st December 2022. The camp is held at Dhoke Baba village at Adyla Road, Rawalpindi. The competent eye specialist team of Al-Shifah Trust provided free service to the needy local community.
The eyes of males, females of all ages and students were examined by the eye specialists. 257 patients got free eye examinations; 148 are given free medicines, 54 are given free spectacles, and 29 patients are referred to Al-Shifah Trust Eye Hospital for further examinations and treatment.
𝐃𝐫. 𝐓𝐚𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐚 𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐞 from Glasgow, a volunteer doctor also performed medical check up of 40 patients and prescribed the necessary medicines.
We are grateful for the support, hard work and efforts of Raja Raheel (Al-Shifa Trust), Abdur Raheel and Najeeb Razwan Foundation to make it a successful event. This Free Eye Camp is partially 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐦 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐚 𝐒𝐲𝐞𝐝𝐚 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐀𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐦 𝐇𝐢𝐫𝐚 𝐓𝐚𝐪𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐬 𝐒𝐲𝐞𝐝𝐚 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐒𝐀 in the loving memory of their late mum Naheed Saleem. May 𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐀𝐇 𝐒𝐖𝐓 accept it. 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐧.
