Sameera Foundation distributed 600 Ramadhan Food Gift packages to most deserving village families on your behalf. The charity work was done in three different districts of Pakistan: Distt. Attock, Chakwal and Thatta. It is recommended to avoid gathering due to Corona Virus Pandemic. Therefore, our staff delivered to the houses of widows, disabled, poor families and daily wage workers on 28th April to 3rd of May 2020.
The food package consisted of Sugar 5 kg, one Tea packet, Dates 1 kg, Basin (gram flour) 2 kg, Cooking Oil / Ghee (Maragrin) 2.5 kg and Rooh Afza bottle (concentrated juice) worth £11.50.
Two weeks ago, we distributed 25 kg wheat flour bag to each deserving family as a Relief from COVID-19 Pandemic lockdown. We have data of a few poor villages for the most deserving families. Our staff decided to deliver personally the food bag at the door step of each deserving family on your behalf. This was done to avoid a public gathering according to the recommended policy of SOCIAL DISTANCE. The donations received for Ramadhan Food Gift Packs are presented in the following table. Some of the donations are transferred from the COVID-Relief Package Appeal and used for Ramadhan Food Gift Package for disabled, widows and other deserving families. The table also provide information about the area/location of distribution of your gifted packs as well as the number of packs distributed in a particular area.
